About The Lakeside Inn & Cafe
The Lakeside Inn & Cafe is located just off Highway 192 East of St. Cloud Florida on Alligator Lake.
Nestled amongst ancient oak trees, tropical palms where exotic birds find their sanctuary you will find The Lakeside Inn & Cafe. Enjoy romantic walks at sunrise or sunset lakeside along our docks or spend the afternoon fishing on the Alligator Chain Of Lakes. We offer a private boat ramp and dock for our guests to enjoy boating or fishing on the lake.
Our lakeside accommodations include single rooms, double rooms, and suites. The expertly restored guest rooms include: private bathrooms, cable TV, telephones, heating and air conditioning, clock radios, mini fridges and coffee makers, iron and ironing boards and daily room service.
Relax and Enjoy a nice bottle of home wine or a cold beer while enjoying the amazing sunsets.
We are a short drive (about 7 miles) from Harmony Florida which features the Harmony Golf Preserve and the Harmony Town Square Market Place or if you are looking for an adventure filled afternoon many guests often enjoy Forever Florida and the Florida Ecosafari Tours which is only about 18 miles from our location. The town of St Cloud is located just outside of Orlando with most attractions including Universal Studios and Walt Disney World theme parks being about 24 miles from our location on the Alligator Chain Of Lakes.

Check-Ins: Guests are required to show a photo ID for every adult in the room and credit card upon check-in. Guest are required to have a credit card for incidentals. Cancellation and early check-out fees may apply to reservation modifications.
Cancellations: Guest are required to cancel 3 days prior to arrival date in order to receive a refund on deposit. If the guest does not cancel within the cancellation period the guest will be charge 100% of the first night. Early departures are subject to a fee of $50.00 plus the one day cancellation fee.
Pet & Smoking Policy: There is to be no smoking in guest rooms and no pets allowed on property. Guest may be charge a penalty fee of up to $250.00 for violating either of these policies. Please note if a guest is being disruptive or causing any kind of disturbance then the guest will no longer be allowed to stay on property and will not be allowed any refunds if the cancellation policy has passed.

Visitng The Alligator Chain Of Lakes
Alligator Lake is one of the cleanest in Florida. It is feed by 5 Springs and is the only lake that has real sand on the bottom.
Alligator Lake is a fantastic destination for the entire family and offers amateur or professional anglers plenty of opportunities. The lakes produce record bass catches, and anglers can also fish for bluegill, black crappie and reader sunfish.
The Alligator Chain Of Lakes provides anglers with ample fishing opportunities as its five lakes interconnect. The chain is composed of Alligator Lake with 3,406 acres, Lake Lizzie with 792 acres, Coon Lake with 148 acres, Trout Lake with 273 acres and Lake Gentry with 410 acres. The chain also connects with the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes thus allowing anglers to experience the fishing opportunities that both chains offer.
A variety of amateur fishing competitions have been hosted on these lakes, including the popular Big Fish Open. The Big Fish Open is a recreational catch-and-release amateur tournament for children and adults held every fall as part of Kissimmee’s Great Outdoor Days.
In 2000, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers conducted a lake draw down and enhancement project on the Alligator Chain of Lakes, which improved aquatic habitats and stimulated growth of aquatic vegetation.
